Hey all, probably my last blog post for the year, gonna hold off on drawing/animating for the rest of the month to recharge. But that said you may have seen that I posted my showreel for 2020. I am super happy with how it turned out, all things considered.

Just because I'm giving drawing a break for the rest of this year, doesn't mean I don't have anything to post though!
That's right, tomorrow starts a week of small comics I've been working on over the past month following the characters from the "Short Stuff" series.
These comics will be posted on my various social medias, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram and DeviantArt. Two comics a day plus a character sheet sprinkled in the mix.
After that's all said and done there will be one more thing I want to put online. It's a very special thing, its an adventure of some kind that features a dragon and fire...
It's my Pilot Episode from last year, "The Adventures of Camila". It'll be public for the first time! I thought a year after its creation, it's been through some film festivals and I feel like it is a good time to let it be, move unto new projects.
But let's talk next year, it'll be up in the air to say the least. I wanna get a job in the industry, I also want to continue doing my personal work, maybe another short film. But it'll be difficult to do both, I can try but paid work takes priority and my ideas aren't going anywhere.
Here are some concept images I quickly made for a colourful sci-fi adventure that I'd like to pursue if things don't go in the paid work route (another adventure I know). Plus there will be the usual events next year, Shark Week, Spooktober probably some fan art comics and more small animations.
It's been a crazy year and it's going to be an even crazier 2021. Things won't return to normal just because a zero turns to a one, but we all gotta stay strong. If it is safe to do so, see your family and friends, cherish the time you have with them.
